Remote Assist for Android Data Collectors
Today, remote assist is available for Windows data collectors. Introducing remote assist for Android data collectors. Add background images in bulk to send to data collectors
We presume you liked the ‘publish background images to data collectors’ feature in WorksManager that we released in the last quarter. Now, we are happy to inform you that we are extending that feature to include bulk upload, and bulk delete options too. Please note that the bulk limit is capped at 50 pairs of image/ world files; if you do have more, then you can choose to do it in batches.
Publish landxml to Earthworks directly
You can now publish landxml to Earthworks directly. When you drag/ drop a landxml design in the ‘Create design’ workflow, and proceed with selecting the surface & linework (as existing today), you will see a popup that informs about this change. When you proceed to publish the design,
The landxml design gets published directly to Earthworks machines running versions >= 2.18 without any conversion (new workflow)
The landxml gets converted to dsz format (single surface), and then published to Earthworks machines running versions < 2.18 (already existing workflow, no change)
The landxml gets converted to svd/ svl formats (single surface), and then published to GCS machines (already existing workflow, no change)
